Some user reviews:
Jason:
I’ve tried many, many blades and these are in a category of their own. They are smooth as silk, very forgiving but sharp and extremely easy on the skin. I’m convinced these have one of the finest edges of any blade made. Voskhods were my first 100 pack and for good reason. The only blade that comes close for me is Polsilver SI which are also amazing blades. Newbies listen up- if you’re burning up your neck and you have your technique down, try this blade. I’ve never even had a weeper with this blade much less burn or cuts. Highly recommend Voskhods!

I've wanted to try these for the longest time and finally got a chance to score 5 of them for a buck. I don't have a tough beard. I can usually get a "damn fine shave" in 2 passes with ANY blade, and a baby butt smooth shave with a select few. This is one of those blades. I don't know if it's the teflon or russian elf magic, but these are smoother than Feathers and seem just as sharp. If there is any negative to these blades, it's that they are only good for maybe 3 two-pass shaves. To me, it's worth it at 18 cents a blade. I didn't hesitate to buy 100 of them.
Justin:
My skin is sensative, dry (as opposed to oily), and my hair is fine (rather than coarse.) I’ve been using these to shave my face and head for several months now in a Merkur 34c and they are my favorite combination of smoothness and sharpness. Others that I’ve tried include Wilkenson Sword, Derby, Dorco, Feather, Rockwell, Persona Red, and Astra. For me, the Voskhod Teflon Coated are not quite as sharp as the WS or Feather, but they are sharp enough and are smoother. After a 3-4 pass shave, I do not get any redness, in-grown hairs, or razor burn with these as I’ve had with other blades. Highly recommended if your skin/beard are similar to mine. Brad, Casie, and their staff have always taken good care of me too.
